【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforhelmetsmanufacturedforusebyinfantsandtoddlersaspassengersoroperatorsofnonmotorizedvehiclesintendedfortheiruse.Thisspecificationrecognizesthedesirabilityoflightweightconstructionandventilation;however,itisaperformancestandardandisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446exceptasnoted.Partialutilizationofthisstandardisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationmustbeacertificationthattheproductmeetsalloftherequirementsofthisspecificationintheirentirety.Aproductthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthisstandard,andshouldnotbesoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthisstandard.
