【摘要】:TestMethodAiscommonlyusedforqualitycontroltestingbecauseofthesolventefficiencyofcarbondisulfide.TestMethodBemploystolueneasasolventbecauseitislesstoxicandlessvolatilethancarbondisulfide.TestMethodBismorelikelytobeusedforresearchanddevelopmentorforanyotherpurposewheresuchinformationmaybeuseful.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofsolventinsolublematerialsinasulfursample.Thetwotestmethodsavailableare:(1)TestMethodA,ExtractionbyCarbonDisulfide,and(2)TestMethodB,ExtractionbyToluene.Iftherearenoothersolventinsolublematerialspresentinthesulfur,thesetestmethodsdeterminetheinsolublesulfurcontentdirectly.Ifothermaterialsarealsopresent,additionaltestingisnecessarytoidentifywhatportionoftheinsolublesisinsolublesulfur.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificwarning,see5.1.
