【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodthatisapplicableforthedetectionandenumerationofCryptosporidiumoocystsandGiardiacystsinwater.Itisapplicablefortheexaminationofsurfaceandgroundwaters,treatedwaters,mineralwaters,swimmingpoolandrecreationalwaters.Thismethoddoesnotallowidentificationtospecieslevel,thehostspeciesoforiginorthedeterminationofviabilityorinfectivityofanyCryptosporidiumoocystorGiardiacystwhichmaybepresent.Theseproceduresareforusebyexperiencedanalystswhohavesuccessfullycompletedcompetencytestspriortocommencinganalysis.Inaddition,suchanalystsshouldcontinuetodemonstratecompetencybyexaminingseededsamplesregularintervalsandtakingpartinexternalqualityassuranceschemes.
