【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversasbestos-cementinsulatingpanelsconsistingofacoreofinsulatingfiberboardsandwichedbetween,andbondedto,twosheetsofasbestos-cementfacingboard.Asbestos-cementinsulatingpanelsaredesignedforexteriorandinteriorwalls,partitions,curtainwalls,roofdecks,andfordecorativepurposes.1.2Allmeasurementsandtestsnecessaryfordeterminingtheconformityofasbestos-cementinsulatingpanelswiththisspecificationaremadeinaccordancewiththemethodscoveredinSection9.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.4Warning-Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysoltileasbestos,referto"SafeUseofChrysotileAsbestos:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures."1.5Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section9,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.See1.4foraspecifichazardwarning.
